Pros & Cons Of Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation Treatment

by Chester Williams

Urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, looseness—all of these are issues that women face as they get older, and they can really take a toll on your confidence. If you have been researching vaginal rejuvenation options, you have likely come across non-surgical treatments, and your curiosity is piqued. Take a look at some of the pros and cons of non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatment to help you make an informed decision.

Pro: Non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatments don't require long recovery processes.

If you are going for a discreet procedure that will not require you to take a long time off of work and will allow you to quickly resume daily activities, then a non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation plan is the best option. During these procedures, a laser is used to create tiny perforations in the walls of the vagina, which do not take a long time to heal. You will likely have a little soreness for a few days, but other than that, you can go on about your regular life and activities.

Con: Non-surgical options may not help with severe problems.

If you have severe issues with things like incontinence or vaginal dryness, non-surgical treatment may not always be as effective as surgical treatments. Of course, you may see some improvement in your symptoms without surgery, but if you are having major problems, surgery may be the better option for you. If your doctor feels like you would be a better candidate for surgery, they will let you know during the initial consultations.

Pro: Avoiding surgery is going to usually be a less-expensive alternative.

If you do go with a non-surgical rejuvenation plan, you are probably going to save yourself some money. The costs of treatment for in-office visits are naturally going to be less than paying for a surgical procedure that will involve general anesthesia and potentially a hospital stay.

Con: Opting for non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation may mean multiple visits.

Choosing to go the non-surgical route with vaginal rejuvenation is probably going to mean you will need to make several trips to the doctor for treatment. Unlike surgical rejuvenation, which can mean you are only required to go to the doctor for surgery and follow-up care, non-surgical procedures like laser therapy can mean you will have to go in to see your doctor for a series of treatments. For those who want to avoid drastic surgery and recovery time, however, this is well worth the outcome.

About Me

Updating Your Look

A few months ago, I realized that I wanted to look a little bit younger. I got a job as a marketing representative, so I found myself traveling from place to place to sell our company's products and services. However, my older look seemed to be holding me back from communicating effectively with the younger crowd. To correct this problem, I started investigating plastic surgery, and I was really impressed with how many procedures were out there that could improve my appearance. I was able to completely overhaul my look by going through and undergoing a few procedures, and now I feel great. This blog is all about updating your look with plastic surgery.
